Pink Valentines Meringues

These pink meringues (featured over at the Daily Quirk today) weren’t my original post plan for today, but as I rather foolishly deleted the photographs I was planning on sharing today, I’m lucky to have them to fall back on.

Luckily, thanks to PhotoRec (and a colleague who had it on his PC) the photos have been recovered and I will be able to share them with you next week.

These meringues (like my chocolate mousse last Valentines) are one of my go to desserts. They’re easy to make and everyone loves them. I dyed them pink for Valentines Day but you could make them any pastel colour you like or leave them their original pretty white.

Head over to the Daily Quirk to find the recipe, and the tale of my favourite Valentines Day with the gorgeous Rebecca (it’s not a romantic story we were about 12 at the time!).

i eat almost everything but meringues are one of the few things I just cannot bring myself to like. It’s disappionting because so many people love them and they are so gorgeous that i expect myself to like them but.. I just can’t. Even so, I get tricked into thinking I might like them when I see photos of these beautiful things. Like yours omg, so pretty and pink and sweet :) hope you had a lovely vday :) x

thanks Shuhan! I only like them in little portions with lots of cream/ice cream and fresh berries, I couldn’t eat a lot of it!

Thanks Monet! I think I was closer to 18 in those photos though I did have a bit of a baby face as a teen!
